Differentiation is huge in the Special Education world. In my high school math classes, I have students ranging from a Kindergarten-1st-grade level to7th-grade level. Not that easy to differentiate, especially when some students can only read very basic sight words. Khan Academy has helped me out by giving students a chance to work at their level and it saves me a ton of work!
This video is one of my favorites and I always show this to my students at the beginning of the year when we are making our logins (which is easy if you use Google accounts). Not only do the students practice, but I do too! They started with math but have branched out to SAT prep and other subjects.
